Hygienists MARIA C. KAYSER R.D.H., B.S.- Dental Hygienist Both of Maria’s Dental Hygiene and Bachelors Degrees have come from the University of Detroit Dental School. She’s been practicing hygiene since 1986. Her first 9 years in practice were with a Periodontal and Implant specialty practice. She has remained current in the hygiene field through numerous continuing education courses and membership in the Periodontal Study Club since 1988. Being sure that her patients gain an understanding of gum disease and how to prevent it is just one of her career goals. Since 1998, Maria has been a member of the school health team and has educated hundreds of elementary and junior high students on dental health. Maria received the Special Person Award from the St. Joseph’s School Health Network for her many years of dedicated service. CYNTHIA SCHOENINGER R.D.H., B.S.-Dental Hygienist Cindy received her Degrees through the University of Detroit Dental School. She’s been in the Hygiene field since 1986 and has been a colleague of Dr. Kayser since dental school. Their similar schooling makes their philosophy on dentistry unified. Her background includes several years working in a Periodontal & Implant specialty practice. Cindy is a member of the Periodontal Study Club and is also an integral part of her schools health team. She has been successfully broadening the knowledge of dental products available to students and schools to prevent dental decay. Cindy is a member of the Academy of Dental Resources and a wealth of information on Xylitol products. LINDA ROBERTS R.D.H.- Dental Hygienist Linda received her Dental Hygiene Certificate through Oakland Community College in 1984. Linda has seen the scope of dentistry change quite a bit during her career. She has worked in several general dentistry practices and takes pride in knowing she initiated a Periodontal Program at a practice early in her career. Linda has kept current in continuing her dental education through the Periodontal Study Club. She has participated in Health Fair Expos, Elementary Dental Health Education and working with closed head injury patients creating specific hygiene aids for their special needs. Financial Coordinator CAROLYN DINKEL- Financial Advisor Carolyn has been working in the dental field since 1989. She has been our financial coordinator since 1996. Her knowledge of the insurance world is astounding! Because of this, patients have come to know and trust her when it comes to dealing with their insurance companies. She also coordinates financial arrangements. Carolyn is our greatest asset in this area and she welcomes any questions you may have. Dental Assistants HOLLY LAYHER C.D.A. – Certified Dental Assistant Holly has been with the practice since 1994. She received her Radiology certificate in 1995. Since then she has obtained her Certification in Dental Assisting. Holly has been with the practice since its inception making her skills and knowledge within the office quite diverse. She is equally qualified in addressing scheduling concerns and payments as she is assisting Dr. Kayser and making the office flow smoothly. This alone makes her a valuable asset in your dental care. ANDREA EASH- Dental Assistant Andrea is the newest member to our dental team and will be receiving her certification in Dental Radiographs. Since joining the practice, she has already gained an immense amount of knowledge in the dental field. She is a quick study and always eager to please, especially our patients.
